World Suicide Prevention Day 2018:
The Niamh Louise Foundation were in attendance at a number of events to mark World Suicide Prevention Day yesterday. Siobhan spent the morning in South Tyrone Hospital with Liz McGrath, Protect Life Co-Ordinator with the Southern Trust, highlighting the work of the Foundation. Jenny attended and spoke at a highly successful awareness evening hosted by The Deputy Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Councillor Paul Duffy, while Grainne and Catherine facilitated an awareness session to a full hall in Ballerin GAC. A day of highly successful events alongside Jenny’s feature in The Belfast Telegraph and Catherine McBennett speaking with Professor Rory O’Connor on Good Morning Ulster in regards to suicide prevention in NI.
