Catherine Mc Bennett, Sharon Cunningham and Theresa Mc Kenna represented the Niamh Louise Foundation at the IAS 15th Annual Conference which was held in Cavan on the 5th and 6th of October 2011.

The two day conferance provided particpants with the opportunity to listen to young researchers in the field of suicidology and experienced professionals with updated theories to educate all currently working within the field of suicidology whether  stautory or community sector.

Catherine Mc Bennett had the opportunity to speak along side colleague Barry Mc Gale from the Western Trust on a new inititaive booklet in the Western trust area. Catherine hopes this initiative will be rolled out regionally and specially in the Southern and Northern trust areas in which the Niamh Louise Foundation works.
