Mountains for Malachy 2019

A brilliant event taking place in May 2019:

The Four Peaks Challenge on the weekend of 16th -19th May 2019, climbing each of the highest peaks in each province in Ireland in four days in aid of The Niamh Louise Foundation.

1. Mweelrea (814 metres), Connaught’s highest mountain – Mayo (Thurs)
2. Carrauntoohil (1,038 metres) Munster’s and Ireland’s highest mountain – Kerry (Friday)
3. Lugnaquilla (925 metres) – Wicklow (Saturday)
4. Slieve Donard (850 metres) Northern Ireland’s, and Ulster’s highest mountain is the final challenge (Sunday) – open to public to participate.

Mountains for Malachy will kick off with a Coffee Morning in the Community Hub at Burren GAC on Saturday 6th April from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
