On Tuesday 15th December 2009, Eimear Mc Kearney was welcomed to Drumglass High School Dungannon, to deliver the Mental Health, Suicide and Self Harm Workshop to year 13 and 14.
Students participated very well in the workshop and were provided with information on,
- Background of the Niamh Louise Foundation, Aims and Objectives,
- Looking after your mental health
- What is prevention, intervention and postvention?
- Suicide and self harm in more depth
- Myths , facts and figures
- How to respond?
- Lifeline
Students were provided with a range of literature on Looking after your Mental Health, Self Help booklets, Coping with Exam Pressure and further information on the Myths and Facts surrounding Suicide and Self Harm, Understanding Self Harm and various other relevant material.
