We need singer/songwriters for the 5TH FEILE JOE Song Competition 2012 to be held on Sunday 26th August at O’Toole’s Bar & Restaurant, Ballymacnab, Armagh.

The style and type of song doesn’t matter, it just has to be newly composed and original, age doesn’t matter either!

The Joe O’Toole Song Competition was established in 2007 as a tribute to the man himself following his untimely death in August of the previous year. Joe was renowned for his own song writing talent and story telling which covered every subject imaginable.

The Song Competition has since expanded to a weekend long “mini-festival” now called “Feile Joe”. This weekend aims to bring talented musicians from every corner of Ireland together for a weekend of music, banter and entertainment not to be missed.

Since its establishment Feile Joe has been raising money for charity, to date predominantly in aid of The Niamh Louise Foundation whose aim is to provide suicide awareness, prevention, intervention and postvention services across the areas of Armagh and Tyrone.
