On 28 February 2103 after a period of severe depression, Matthew Cooper lost his battle with depression. His death devastated his family and friends.
Matthew was just 17 years old and had everything to live for. There are many other families who are living with depression and yet there is still many misconceptions about this illness. The aim of the Cooper family is to raise awareness about depression and suicide and get the message out that there is help available and there is hope for those who are struggling.
Keith Cooper and Tim Brownlie will complete a 24 hour run on 25-26 June 2016 in memory of Matthew and as they raise awareness they also want to raise money for the Niamh Louise Foundation; a charity that has been a great help to Colin, Suzanne and their family. Please see the below link to donate.
